Great Decisions Study Group

With crises erupting daily throughout the world, there are countless problems to be solved.  Each year the International Relations Committee sponsors a group, which meets monthly to study and discuss specific topics from the Foreign Policy Association publication "Great Decisions".  Anyone is welcome to participate.

Book Group

A variety of books from classics to current selections, fiction and non-fiction, are read and discussed. This great group meets on the third Tuesday of each month.

Tuesday Lunch Bunch

The Lunch Bunch gathers to eat at a local restaurant at noon on the second Tuesday of each month.  It's a time for getting together for fun with AAUW members and friends.

Fresh Cooking

Fresh Cooking is born out of interest in the recent book club reading, “Animal, Vegetable and Miracle” by Barbara Kingsolver, who describes her first year in Virginia planting, growing and cooking food for her family. Fresh Cooking will explore the in’s and out’s of cooking with seasonal and mostly local produce “from scratch”.
