The American Association of University Women
is a national organization that promotes equality for all women and girls,
life-long education, and positive social change.

The Tehachapi Mountain Branch of AAUW offers friendship,
support for personal and professional growth, community leadership,
gender equity, and scholarships to our local community area.

Via our Scholarship Fund for Women, we have provided over $137,000
in scholarships for local students. Nearly 100 members and friends strong,
we offer a unique opportunity for women and men in the Tehachapi area.

Breaking through Barriers for Women and Girls

One of the powers of AAUW is our collective strength in numbers.
Because of this, the “Hill” listens to our advocacy, schools use our research,
and individuals contribute to helping all women … because equity is still an issue.
